OUGD504- Studio Brief 1 "My Design Process" - Info-graphic Research

As i am going to be to displaying my design process in a visual way i decided to look into info graphics as they are an eye catching way of showing information. The design and layout of the information could possibly be enough to set my leaflet aside from other leaflets, although the folding and shape of the leaflet will make it more interesting.

I found this info graphic really effective as its unusual to see a pie chart displayed like this, its more interesting than the usual corporate pie charts you see. It also work well with the content as it looks like sections of a field but is just the information displayed in an visual way. The information is still clear and well communicated but just done in a more accessible and easily communicated way.

This info graphic is about sound and you can see this straight away as it looks like a sound wave building.  It is simply done but its really effective, it makes you want to read the information even though it is made up of large block of text. It has removed the uninviting aesthetic of large blocks of unbroken text.

This simple flow chart shows how it can be made interesting but by using a nice clean typeface and arranging it cleanly. It doesn't have to be over complicated and bust to be interesting and visually pleasing. I think this sort of aesthetic will fit my design process as its quite simple and straight forward.
